Mesotherapy Targeted Treatments for Spot Weight Loss Reduction

Mesotherapy can treat love handles.
Mesotherapy was originally developed in 1952 in France by dr. Michel Pistor for the treatment of vascular disorders and sports injuries, but it was not long before it’s use as a treatment for targeted weight loss became well known all over Europe and also in the United States. It is one of the few treatments known to doctors and spa directors that can actually truthfully be advertised as a method of non-invasive spot reduction.   In recent years, this has made mesotherapy for weight loss just as popular, if not even more popular than mesotherapy for pain relief and when you begin to offer this option to your clientele, you will notice that it becomes very popular simply because it does, in most cases, offer a quick fix for situations that might otherwise require surgery.

The French Weight Loss Mesotherapy Cocktail

Mesotherapy cocktails for targeted weight reduction can depend on the condition that you are trying to treat.  Generally each shot includes a combination of medications including aminophylline, Novocain, plant extracts and vitamins.  When you take  the Pinewood mesotherapy course you will learn exactly what type of medications work best where and how to properly use the delivery mechanism of mesotherapy: the meso-gun.  Currently, mesotherapy is used to treat the trunk, abdomen, buttocks, arms and legs and different medicinal mesotherapy cocktails.  It can also treat excessively fatty areas such as saddlebags, love handles or back fat.

The “French Treatment” as mesotherapy is sometime often results in a dramatic loss of inches, usually around the tummy. However, it can take five to ten sessions of mesotherapy before you client sees real results and the number of injections at each site can range from being 50 to 150.

Not everyone is a good candidate for this treatment, and you are well advised not to take risks with your patient’s health. In general, mesotherapy for targeted weight reduction can be used on anyone between the ages of 18 and 70 who is in good health.  Pregnant women, diabetics, HIV patients and heart patients may not be good candidates for this treatment.

What Should You Charge For Each Mesotherapy Session?

As practicing mesotherapist, who offers spot reduction weight loss treatments, you need to charge at least $150 a session to cover your basic costs, but you must also include your time. Also a treatment that only requires fifty injections should cost your client lot less than one that requires three times as many and office visit time can vary from being fifteen minutes to an hour.
